The head of business at Glasgow University has told an employment tribunal that a female academic overlooked for a promotion was treated unfairly.
Professor John Finch made the admission as he was being cross-examined by the economist Jeanette Findlay, who claims she was the victim of direct and indirect sex discrimination after her application to become a professor was rejected in 2020.
