Eleven students at one university are said to have taken their own lives in the last six years.

The parents of one of the students are set to accuse Exeter University of not doing enough to help their son, at an inquest due to begin at Cornwall Coroner's Court on Thursday.

Harry Armstrong Evans, 21, died in June 2021 after failing some of his exams in the third year of studying physics and astrophysics during the pandemic.

His mother Alice and father Rupert say he was upset after being told that his marks would be capped at 40 percent if he re-sat the tests.
