A teenager studying at the University of Hull died after being bitten by a spider in student accommodation.
Harry Bolton, 19, was found dead at his student house four days after being bitten on the back. Those living in the student accommodation complex on Cottingham Road had already complained about an invasion of spiders, an inquest was told.
Bolton, who was described as a promising student in his second year, had told a friend on October 3, 2021, that he had been bitten by a spider on his back and was not feeling well.
Bolton, 19, was found dead four days after he had told a friend he was bitten by a spider.
