EPSRC has appointed Professor Jonathan Dawes as its new deputy executive chair.
Professor Dawes joins the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) on 27 February on secondment from the University of Bath, where he is professor of applied mathematics.

His wide-ranging experience, including in leading cross-discipline collaborations and working with a broad range of partners, will be an important asset to EPSRC and the wider engineering and physical sciences community.
