A left-wing teacher was forced to apologise yesterday after she claimed Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was 'supporting the murder' of trans teen Brianna Ghey by blocking the SNP's gender reforms laws.
Shelby Millard also accused Mr Sunak of supporting 'far-Right' attacks during her speech to hundreds of teachers at the National Education Union's (NEU) annual conference.
She claimed the Prime Minister thought 'hate and abuse is fine' before being forced to retract her allegations.
The NEU conference saw support for several LGBT+ initiatives, including union members voting yesterday to back drag queens being invited to schools to hold storytelling events for children.
Ms Millard, a teacher from Greenshaw High School in Sutton, south London, issued her allegations against Mr Sunak during the debate over LGBT initiatives.
