This morning, Baz Ramaiah, CfEY’s Head of Policy, joined Eamon Holmes and Isabel Webster in the GB News studios to discuss the need for schools to use inclusive and gender neutral language to make gender nonconforming people feel safe and welcome. His position was challenged by a former teacher.
Baz commented further on the issue:
“Ultimately, we are talking about schools making very minor changes to their practice that can have a major impact on making vulnerable young people safe, welcome and cared for. I’m not sure why anyone committed to the wellbeing of vulnerable children would oppose that.”
