Schools say families are turning to them for help with the cost of living crisis. Now teachers are finding they are providing meals, uniform and "everyday essentials" to families and say it is set to continue.
Last week, inflation reached a 40-year high of 9% and on Tuesday the energy regulator Ofgem warned the energy price cap - which limits how much providers can raise prices - is expected to increase to £2,800 a year in the autumn.
