Pupils are being subjected to a “radical script” in the teaching of a controversial racial ideology that teaches contested political beliefs as fact, a new report has warned.
Impartiality laws are being broken in schools as critical race theory — or the idea that racism is entrenched in society — is taught by third-party providers, the pressure group Don’t Divide Us said.
It claimed that the curriculum was being “re-racialised” with the providers’ political beliefs creating “a relationship between schools and ideologically motivated businesses”.
Its advisory board includes Dr Tony Sewell, whose report into ethnic disparities for Boris Johnson found no evidence of structural racism in Britain but prompted a storm of criticism.
