Antisemitism is growing in schools, with a quarter of such racist incidents committed by children.
Of the 415 anti-Jewish hate incidents recorded in the first half of this year in which the offender’s age was given, 103 were perpetrated by those under 18, with many taking place in schools, according to data compiled by the Community Security Trust (CST), a charity that aims to protect British Jews from antisemitism and related threats.
The figures show a year-on-year increase in antisemitism among children, with only one in six incidents in 2019 having been by someone under 18.
