Ambition Institute has announced the appointment of Natalie Dixon as Executive Director for the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications.
Natalie joined the national education charity in 2022 as Senior Director of Programme Delivery. In this role, she has supported Ambition to deliver National Professional Qualifications to more than 19,000 teachers and school leaders, and the Early Career Framework programme to more than 29,500 teachers and mentors.
In her new role as Executive Director, Natalie will continue to lead the nationwide ECF and NPQ programmes through our network of 53 delivery partners.
Before joining Ambition, Natalie held national senior leadership roles across public services. She advised on policy for NHS Improvement, driving the organisation’s work on service transformation. In policing, she oversaw the successful implementation of a national apprenticeship programme and led other major educational and development interventions. Natalie is also a trustee of Northamptonshire Primary Academy Trust.
