The former boss of Condé Nast who co-chaired the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant has been appointed provost of Eton College.
Sir Nicholas Coleridge, 66, will take over as head of the board of governors at the school, where Prince William and Prince Harry were educated, from next September. The appointment was approved by the King.
Known as the King of the Glossies from his time running the Condé Nast magazine empire, Coleridge is chairman of the board of trustees at the Victoria and Albert museum in London and is a godfather to Cara Delevingne, the model.
