Two Jewish girls’ schools in north London have been vandalised with red paint, sending “shockwaves” through the local community.
The Metropolitan Police is investigating the two incidents, which took place on Thursday and Monday and are being treated as hate crimes. Officers are yet to determine whether the incidents are linked and have made no arrests.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has been blamed for the lack of arrests made by police after anti-Israel and antisemitic chants heard at pro-Palestinian protests at the weekend.
