The Welsh Government has announced a new capital funding of more than £12.5m to ensure that school and college buildings in Wales are "safe and efficient". On Monday, March 11, education minister, Jeremy Miles MS, announced that the funding package would include £2.56m to cover the costs of remedial works to schools where reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) has been identified.
