A new report published today (Friday July 26th) by Child of the North and Anne Longfield’s Centre for Young Lives think tank, “An evidence-based plan for addressing the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) assessment and support crisis”, presents new evidence and analysis that reveals the scale of the crisis facing many children and young people with SEN(D), with some families waiting years for assessments.
