Fourteen people have been charged over their alleged involvement in a cartel that is said to have rigged tenders to operate school transport routes in Co Tipperary.
The legal action follows an investigation by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
The inquiry focused on the alleged abuse of the state’s school bus scheme, which takes 100,000 children a day between rural homes and schools.
