Teachers, academics and sports coaches are among employees now guaranteed 5.6 weeks of annual holiday even if they do not work a full year, the Supreme Court has ruled.
Union officials and legal experts said the ruling would mean that all workers with contracts of at least a year will receive the same minimum level of paid annual holiday leave regardless of how many hours they work.
