Staff at England’s largest exam board are set to strike on A-level results day, potentially causing widespread disruption to thousands of prospective university students.
About 180 workers at AQA, including those in customer service who would be handling student and parent inquiries, will strike between Wednesday, August 17 and Sunday, August 21 – with results day on Thursday.
