Students in Scotland are ditching “difficult” exams such as maths and computing in favour of “easier” subjects such as arts and physical education, official figures show.
The number of pupils studying social care has plummeted by more than two thirds, with the industry blaming Covid-19, Brexit and “disproportionately negative media reports” about care homes.
