A decision to remove the doors on the girls’ and boys’ toilets at a secondary school has left parents fuming.
Parrenthorn High in Bury, Greater Manchester, has been accused of "eroding the human rights " of their students after the decision was announced at a school assembly.
Pupils returned back to school on Monday morning after the summer holidays to discover that the doors to two toilet areas had been removed over the break.
The decision had been taken to open them up 'to keep pupils as safe as possible and improve the school environment', students were told in assembly.
