Dr Mary Bousted, joint general secretary of the NEU, said previous education secretaries have been living in “wonderland” and that Kit Malthouse must do more than apply “sticking plasters to a gaping wound”
Education experts have urged Kit Malthouse to do more than apply “sticking plasters” to Britain’s schooling system, while warning the new Education Secretary has limited time to address urgent issues before the next general election.
