Parents have been left furious after a group of schoolchildren were left stuck at home, over a school places row.
While most pupils are back at school now, some parents have been left furious with the high school places they have been offered - and are simply refusing to accept them.
They are now calling on Manchester Council to find an alternative for their kids, as they have been left without an education, report Manchester Evening News.
Despite living within a close catchment area to suitable schools, parents have slammed the council's decision to send their kids to Manchester Academy High in Moss Side - which they call a "dumping ground". Parents have become worried that their children will have to travel far to the "unsafe" school.
