Commenting on the speeches given by the Conservative Education Ministerial at Birmingham, Kevin Courtney, Joint general secretary of the National Education Union, said:
"We urge the new Ministerial team to take this opportunity to properly listen to the profession, who are worried about the direction of travel on education and the disastrous lack of support from the DfE both during and after Covid.
