The morning was like any other although I noted, as I stepped out of my front door in the dark that, unlike the previous three mornings, there was no drizzle. The dull wet mornings had been replaced by a heavy frost and a clear sky. As my shoes crunched over the frost-strewn driveway, I considered that that might be an omen for a good day.
