The SNP’s national discussion on the future of Scottish education has been described as “a total sham” after it emerged that teachers will be given no extra time out of class to join the conversation.
Councils have told school staff who want to share their views they must do it in their own time, or during periods in the day set aside for lesson planning and administration.
