We are pleased to announce that our chief executive Carole Willis has been appointed to the board of directors for the School-Led Development Trust.
The Trust is an organisation set up by four of England’s respected school trusts to run the new National Institute of Teaching (NIoT). Opened in September, the NIoT is dedicated to boosting the quality of teaching and school leadership by carrying out research, applying the insights to its professional development programmes, and sharing findings with the sector.
Carole is joining in a personal capacity and will support the NIoT in its vision of ‘helping to create a school system that nurtures the talents of teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers, so they can provide children with the world-class education they deserve’.
