EEF to offer optional support to ITT providers as part of DfE's review

As part of its ongoing ​‘evidence guardianship’ role, the EEF will offer optional support to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers as part of stage two of the Department for Education’s (DfE) ITT review.

During the second phase of the review, some providers will be given the option by DfE to participate in an optional review and feedback process. A subset of providers that opt-in will then be invited to participate in this process.

In line with the support EEF has previously provided by reviewing provider materials for the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications, the EEF’s additional support will focus on supporting providers to consider the use of, and fidelity to, evidence in their curriculum materials.
