2023 New Year Honours List for Services to Education

Our congratulations to all those who have been awarded in the King's New Year Honours List for their services to education.

New Year Honours is a list of people who have been recognised by the King for their outstanding achievements or service to the country. Published annually on New Year’s Day, it includes recipients of various awards and titles – such as knighthoods, damehoods, and orders of chivalry – it provides a way for the British government to recognise and celebrate the contributions of individuals to the country and to society.

In 2023 over 1,000 people were awarded, 146 of whom received their award for their education-related contribution to society.
