I've just seen a new story in Schools Week about a primary school asking teachers to turn off non-essential lights, even when pupils are in school to save money (see link attached).

As a governor, school funding and the new national formula are a real worry. My school is fine for now but I am worried about the future.

I've heard loads about headteachers rallying against the cuts, but I haven't heard much about governors. Does anyone know of a group? Is anyone else in the same boat?
